WISHLIST v2

Developer note: This is not a complete wishlist yet. It is being updated (and will be for a while). But it’s a glimpse of what might be possible in the future. 

PART SUPPLIER PROJECT

  • Add Supplier rivalry (i.e., if you chose a Steinmann engine the previous year, Rossinii will not be willing to sell to you.
  • Add Supplier Loyalty (i.e., if you chose a Steinmann engine last year, they may be willing to offer you a discount to you)
  • Add Supplier Buffs (i.e., if you choose a Steinmann engine for a number of years, they’ll offer you a better class of engine which is an improvement over the original).
  • Add Supplier Tie Ins (i.e., You can get heavy reduction in price for an engine but you’ll only be able to buy from that supplier).
  • Add in Yearly Supplier variations (i.e., Steinmann’s engine this year may not be as good as it was last year).
  • Make it so the more popular suppliers have more chance of staying in the championship for multiple seasons.
  • Fix it so certain suppliers are locked to their team.
  • Adjust the words for more variety!

RE-BRANDING PROJECT

  • Increase complexity of the buyout system.
  • Add news stories as preludes during the season.
  • Increase the number of outcomes of rebranding
  • Add Rebranded teams to the start of the game

TEAM UNIQUENESS PROJECT

  • Add special buffs / restrcitions depending on the team

CAREER OVERHAUL PROJECT

  • Better inform the player of the events (i.e., update their bonus)
  • Overhaul the basic system by one more intuitive
  • Balance the system better

INTERVIEW PROJECT

  • Heavily expand the interview questions, responses and outcomes.
  • Make tiered questions so that answers can lead to follow on questions
  • Use the ‘Memory’ feature more so that interviews can remember answers from previous interviews.

DILEMMA PROJECT

  • Add many more dilemmas
  • Add chained dilemmas for interesting systems. e,g,m
    • Reserve Driver Improvement akin to a young driver program
    • Sponsor Negotiations
    • New Car Direction (i.e., pre season – choose between focusing on reliability over performance, engine over gearbox, etc etc).

DRIVER & STAFF PROJECT

  • Add additional Designer specific Components
  • Add additional Mechanic Bonuses
  • Add additional personality traits.
  • Redefine each stat from all staff members so they are useful and important.

 SPONSOR PROJECT

  • Add Supplier related Sponsors
  • Add a main sponsor with negotiations via Dilemmas.

 INVESTORS PROJECT

  • Increase the variety of investors in the spirit of the previous version

 12 CARS PROJECT

  • Allow 12 car series to be possible above the initial 62 available teams.
  • See if we can get dynamic movement of cars occuring – i.e., 2 teams may promote, meaning there is one extra car in the above league and one car less from the below league.

 SERIES UNIQUENESS PROJECT

  • See if we can program some of the Endurance Series races to be significantly longer, akin to Marquee races such as le Mans.
